We had an unusual visitor to our bird feeder today. A blackbird with a white head. I looked it up on the internet and it is a partial albino blackbird. Apparently, they are not that common. They are not always lucky to live long because of their white head. Sometimes even their parents reject them. They stand out from their totally black cousins and are prone to be attacked by other birds or even selected by predators.
I didn't want to get too close for fear I might scare it away, but I managed to snap a picture with my 28 zoom camera. It turned out quite nice. It was finally chased away by a bluejay.

Welcome Visitors
Welcome to my personal blog. I have another blog, Herbert's Place, but that one limits me to what I sometimes want to publish, because it is mainly used to promote my books. As it says in the header, I want to use this blog to write about things that have nothing to do with my books. There is no real theme here. I'll be writing about anything that causes me to either be happy or somethings that concerns me. It could be political, travel, a hobby, or anything else. So come and visit me sometimes.
Very lucky to see one.
