Welcome Visitors

Welcome to my personal blog. I have another blog, Herbert's Place, but that one limits me to what I sometimes want to publish, because it is mainly used to promote my books. As it says in the header, I want to use this blog to write about things that have nothing to do with my books. There is no real theme here. I'll be writing about anything that causes me to either be happy or somethings that concerns me. It could be political, travel, a hobby, or anything else. So come and visit me sometimes.

#Survivor S28E10

 Warning: Spoiler.

We watched the tenth episode of this season’s Survivor last night. What a surprise this time. When Tasha won the Immunity we figured our favorite, Spencer, would be a goner. With Toni having the special idol and a regular idol we thought for sure Spence would be voted out.

Toni is the king of idols right now. He controls the game...so it seems. But nothing is ever for sure. Spencer played it smart to put the bug into Toni’s ear about the girls plotting to vote him out. So far, Toni is untouchable, especially since he has that powerful idol. He can’t be voted out for sure at least the first time his name comes up. And that will be bad, because whoever gets the second vote is out of the game. However, once that idol is gone, he isn’t so safe anymore, unless he plays the other idol before the vote. After that he is as vulnerable as everyone else. He has never won a challenge. Spencer and Tasha have.

We were hoping for Spencer to get that clue, but he wasn’t lucky. Toni seems to have all the luck in this game; he got the black stone, which meant he got the clue. Too bad, Spencer already played his idol at a previous tribal council meeting when he didn’t have to.

We are not fans of Toni. He can’t be trusted. He may be a police officer, but he plays dirty. Perhaps because he is a cop, he is also paranoid. And that is his weakness. Spencer played him with that.

We don’t like Trish. I don’t remember why anymore. She is loyal to Toni. At least she was until now. That may have changed now that Toni betrayed his alliance.

Neither do we care much for Kassandra (Kass). We just don’t like her attitude. She betrayed Spencer. Somehow she has it in for Spencer. I don’t know why. She is a lawyer and therefore can’t be trusted. It’s as simple as that. She will never make it to the final three, because she came late into Toni’s alliance and is on the bottom. And I don’t believe Toni trusts her. She should have figured that out when she switched. And to think she was in the Brain-tribe.

Poor Jefra. She didn’t have a chance. She was no threat. She was at the bottom but didn’t know it. She was loyal to Toni which, as it turned out, meant nothing to Toni. Too bad she’s gone. She was from the Beauty tribe and I liked looking at her. (Yes, I’m shallow that way ☺).

We are rooting for Spencer. He is our champion. He is smart, but he doesn’t play dirty and won’t stab anyone in the back. Of course, this is a game and a million dollars are at stake. Anything can happen, and eventually he will have to break his promise to somebody. Will he make it to the end? Perhaps, but there is a good chance he won’t, unless he wins immunity from now on. We’ll see. Looking forward to next Wednesday.
